Empezaré diciendo que escribir sobre la vida de una persona no es tarea fácil, Alejandro y yo hemos pasado muchos años juntos, compartiendo nuestras diferentes experiencias profesionales y cuando me ha dado la encomienda de reseñar su formación artística, ha sido para mí una vivencia que ha fortalecido la relación, nuestros diálogos son amenos y eventualmente los acompañamos con un buen vino; él me ha pedido ser muy coloquial y más que un curriculum vitae, será un viaje a su pasado para saber cómo es que este artista mexicano ha dedicado toda una vida al arte desde la plataforma de diversas disciplinas.

A mediados de los 60s tuvo sus primeros acercamientos con el canto y el teatro informal, formando parte de la estudiantina, el coro y el grupo de teatro infantil del Colegio José Antonio González Peña en la ciudad de Córdoba, en el Estado de Veracruz, ahí es donde empieza su formación artística y su amor por las artes escénicas. Actúa en las obras "Así se escribe la historia" y "Sancho Panza en la Ínsula Barataria". Al inicio de su educación secundaria se integra al grupo de teatro de la Escuela Secundaria de Bachilleres Artes y Oficios, en la misma ciudad de Córdoba; en aquel entonces actúa en "Pueblo Rechazado" bajo la dirección del Dr. Luis Beverido Gómez. A principios de los 70s emigra a la Ciudad de México y se matricula en el Centro Cultural Hidalgo, donde estudia teatro formal, actuando en "Los Corridos de José Guadalupe Posada" y "Los Juegos de Zuzanka" bajo la dirección de Luis Mencos. Incursiona por primera vez en teatro comercial actuando en "Sol de Juventud". Es en 1977 cuando trabaja en "Tenorio 77" (parodia de Don Juan Tenorio de Zorrilla) y en 1978 audiciona para la Compañía Nacional de Teatro, actuando y cantando en "Heredarás el Viento" bajo la dirección de Dimitrios Sarras. En ese mismo año tiene sus primeros contactos con la pantomima tradicional bajo la instrucción del Maestro Renato de la Riva e incursiona en foto-novelas de la época. Trabaja en televisión para el Canal 13 participando en papeles de poca relevancia pero que enriquecen su experiencia histriónica, es parte de las telenovelas "Santa Juana", "Madame Saint James", "El Cuervo", entre otras. Emigra a la capital del estado de Baja California y se integra al elenco de "El Principito", "El Mundo del Show Business" y "La Violenta Visita" bajo la dirección de Juan Antonio Llanes. Durante este período estudia el arte de teatro de muñecos con el Maestro Nicolás Loureiro, director del Grupo el Galpón del Uruguay. A mediados de 1979 se integra al elenco de Theater Frederick de Bélgica, actuando en "Hermosas Locuras" y "Lucinaciones" bajo la dirección del afamado Frederick Vanmelle. En 1980 se hace cargo de los talleres de teatro y pantomima de la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, dirigiendo "Cuerpos Mutantes" y "El Bi-Hombre"; así mismo, actúa en "La muerte accidental de un anarquista" bajo la dirección de Joanna Brito. Representó a Baja California en el III y IV Festival Internacional de Pantomima con sede en Guanajuato-México, en la I Muestra de Pantomima en México. Representa a México en el Festival Internacional de Pantomima en Elkins, W.V. y el Festival Internacional de Pantomima de New York donde estudia pantomima clásica, contemporánea y arte del payaso teatral con diversos maestros de fama mundial; entre los que se destacan Danny Hartigan, Daniel Stein, Carlo Mazone Clementi, Sigfrido Aguilar, Jean Asselin, entre otros. En 1986 funda su propia empresa teatral llamándola Mimus-Circus-Tarugus estrenando "A Reír con el Silencio" en la Sala de Espectáculos del Centro Cultural Tijuana, desde entonces la dirige; durante este período se han estrenado con éxito "Los Duendes del Silencio", "Hojas del Universo", "El Despertar", "Con el Corazón Arrugado", "Fin del Camino" y "La Maleta". Es autor de más de cuarenta rutinas para mimo-comediante y mimo-dramático. Creador de Don Jacinto, un cuenta cuentos de noventa años que se convierte en la delicia de pequeños en edad preescolar. Escribe novela, cuento, poesía y teatro. Actuó en "La Casa de Bernarda Alba" bajo la dirección de Vianka R. Santana. Autor de "El Don de la Palabra y el Discurso Corporal", "El pequeño Raramuri", "Poesía Desfragmentada", entre otros trabajos en proceso. Estudió el Arte de la Performa con el artista Felipe Erenberg llevando a escena "Punto de Contacto". Ha incursionado en las artes plásticas y visuales, estrenando en 2017 su pieza de arte instalación "Sueños Truncados". Co-fundador del proyecto cultural alternativo "La Puerta Mágica". Ha innovado en el campo de la motivación, inspirando a miles de trabajadores de la empresa e industria mexicana para ser cada día mejores seres humanos, además de producir las conferencias Sin Palabras para promover la conciencia en la Prevención de Accidentes, el Liderazgo, el Trabajo en Equipo, el Sentido de Pertenencia y la Integración. Autor de "Cambiar para Mejorar", "El sí Mágico", "El Sembrador" y "Blindaje Emocional". Actualmente el nombre comercial de la organización es MIMUSCIRCUS compañía trashumante mexicana.
